Since arriving in Florida at the end of December we have done lots of riding..over 3,000 KM thanks to Forum members Onawingandaprayer and Longboater and a few other friends from the area.

Today was incredible. We rode over to Longboaters place on Longboat Key and headed out from there. He said we should go " Island Hopping "

WE left Longboat Key headed through Sarasota to Lido Beach and Onto Siesta Key. The views and weather was incredible. We went through Osprey and through Venice to San Marco Island. We went through Englewood and the Points of Pine then onto Gasperilla Island ( Toll road,,, Thanks Ned )

We stopped and had lunchin Boca Grande at The Eagle Grille ( Millers Dockside) Ned told us it was an interesting place...Well to say the least..The food was excellent and the boats travelling through were impressive..We had just finished lunch when this huge ship 110 feet pulled in to the harbour and backed up right beside us to a slip..all of a sudden a lot of armed men came running to the boat, The Sherrifs boat appeared and the area was cordoned off...Huggy and I were amazed...Ned seemed un amused...He knew about this I am sure..Here it is that George Bush and his wife Laura had gone for a little spin in the Yacht on the Ocean...wellwe wereimpressed.

Sooooo...anyone wanting to see a retired President of the United States should just make arrangements with Longboater...The man is connected...LOL ...Thanks Ned for a great day. We had a ball.

We own a 2007 Goldwing with 65,000 KM ( 39,000 Mi. ) on it.

The best part about owning a wing is you know what your next bike is going to be. ( We know, we just bought our 3rd Goldwing )

Many thanks Bob and Deb, couldn't have done this without you.
Great pictures there Bob. Deb you did a great job with documenting as well. Ken, you have to come on down, as they say and add to the fun next year.

Actually we were very calm through out, considering the extra festivities and such at the sandwich shop (thanks for lunch too Bob).

Looking forward to the next ride.

See, the man is OUT of OFFICE and he still is costing us an arm and a leg. That courtesy cotillion is not cheap.
