More like half of a cup of rice-a-day. And if they are 2 pcs short for their daily quota, they get only a 1/4 cup.

Don't want a deal with alot of flibiddy-flab or mumbo-jumbo...........

When I was over there, the monthly minimum rate in Suzhou was about 100dollars per month. I think it's about 170 dollars nowadays

When I think of Communism and the barely subsistance pay for the workers I think back to about 1957. A fellow named Armand Hammer had a deal worked out with the Soviet Union and namely Russia to export a Ford automobile factory to Russia and build cars there. Then the space race began and some political persons decided that building Fords over there would be benefiting Socialism.

As usual the hacks were wrong. If we had exported a Ford plant to Russia and the Russians had a source for cars other than a Trablant then they all would have wanted one. That would have driven up wages, caused a gasoline station to be built on every corner, repair facilities, insurance agents, insurance companies and above all Lawyers to settle damage suits.

The Soviet Union would have been conquered by a Ford car plant.

Communism would not have survived that. Just like China today is undergoing a move to privatization of businesses. With the scandal involving working conditions, child labor, products like tainted milk and baby formulas, tainted products we use in pet food, it is all causing changes in China.

Life is a collection of stories we old people tell and hope a few will listen and carry them into the future.

There is a story to everything we have, everyone we have met and everything we have done or we will do or dream about doing.

We sometimes ride to forget, but hopefully we never forget to ride.
