Sure did look like the Rootes 1725cc engine from our old Sunbeam Alpine I rebuilt a number of years ago.

To those who were asking, the engine is from a Triumph Spitfire. I'm not sure of the size, it could be either 1147, 1296 or 1493 cc, depending on the year of the car, and if it's the original engine or not.

That was great...............

Back to riding after a 30 yr lay off.. Started with a 86 Magna 750 on to a 02 Shadow 1100,99 Magna 750,91 ST1100, finaly a 93 Wing.. and now an 06 1800 Loven Life...
