I wrote a couple of weeks ago that everytime I come to the forum I had to log in. It was suggested that I clean up the cookies and everything else I could think of and that fixed the problem until two days ago. Now I have to sign in everytime I turn off the computer and then come back on. Is there something I'm missing? This was never a problem since I joined back in 2010 until now. I know it's a minor thing but what changed? Is my computer at fault? Any suggestions or should I just suck it upand just sign in and be happy?

First which browser or browsers are you using?

2nd, which antivirus product are you using.

There is a setting in most browsers that will clear out all passwords when the browser is closed. I had that problem a time or two when a new antivirus product updated its' security settings and changed the settings in the browsers.

AVG has just released an update to their high security settings, for the moment I have refused to allow it to update simply because of what you are describing. I just don't feel like debugging new problems this week.

Do you have LastPass? If not, you ought to consider getting it and installing it. It will remember all of your passwords for every website you visit. It has an option you can choose to force a Master Password login each time you start the computer. Or you can tell it to "remain logged in". Your choice. I am the only one who uses my computer so I tell it to "stay logged in".

LastPass is a terrific product, has great credentials. Even Rudy approves of it

Thanks for the info. I will look into it especially since it's Rudy approved. I have been using explorer 8 basicly because I'm too lazy to change. I do use AVG and now that you mentioned it, it us updated in the last month. Could be it. Thanks again and I'll let you know how it goes.
