No. Carolina/So. Carolina/Tn areas...

The wife and I are planning to go east like the last week of July or so. Hoping to have the sidecar done by then.
We want to meet our kids and grandkids and rent a house/cabin in the hills somewhere for a week.
Any suggestions?
Places to see ect. from that point?

You might enjoy spending a half day or so in Maggie Valley N.C. , to visit "Wheels thru Time " . Home - Wheels Through Time
The Dragon is over rated and crowded on weekends . Cherohala Skyway is a nice ride : The Cherohala Skyway, a National Scenic Byway but I cant say how soon it will reopen after the landslide . (its in the same area as Dragon . Hellbender is another good ride :Hellbender 28 Local & Regional Maps
I have to say most any road up in that area is a pleasure to ride .
Of course Blue Ridge Parkway is another . I am sure some of the locals in that area can offer more and suggest places to stay . When I have rented its been in Blue Ridge Ga which is just south of the above areas .

NASR 10 Good times!

We just stayed at Asheville west KOA this past summer and traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway both north and south. Got to the parkway via rte 151 (Devil's Drop) which was a very interesting road. There are cabins at this campground.
