So sorry for your loss Norm. I cannot say I wasn't still just a little surprised to learn of Linda's passing, yesterday. Each time the Docs said she probably wouldn't make it, over the years, she pulled off a miracle.
Many is the time she said it was because of you, Norm. You were 'always' there for her, and she didn't mind saying so, often. She certainly inspired many of us.
Me and Sharon have enjoyed riding & sharing meals with you both, having you both at our house and visiting your many residences to accommodate Linda's needs.
Sharon & Linda got very close & spent many days together talking when she needed company. Linda 'bragged' about you a lot, the rest is between them.
Linda loved Rusty (the wonder dog). Who else would have a bike-riding dog who would sit in her lap, with no leash, on very long rides, and before the sidecar.
We cherished the trust you both put in us to be Rusty's sitter, when needed. We knew it was a deep trust. But, WOW! That little dog could fart, I mean eye-watering, paint-peeling, 'open-a-window', farts. They were so bad, you had to respect his ability to clear a room.
But we are dog-people & used to such things, but he sure made us laugh.
We know the difficulties you and Linda shared over the past 5 years and accept the present for what it must be, but we have Sooo many memories of GOOD TIMES to focus on.
We will pray for your eventual 'Peace of Mind'. Not easy, but it does come. (remember, I have been there)
