that's quite a machine . I wonder how they get enough traction to push a full plow load.


You can keep the heavy snow . I will stick with the major heatwave going on here in Fl this Christmas . I wish you could join me for a RTE this afternoon.

I can't see for sure but that looks similar to the old Oshkosh plows they use to use around here. They were 4 wheel drive, and that box on the back contains a solid concrete block that is about 6 feet by 8 feet by 2 feet. Lots of weight and good tires for the job and them thins get traction enough to stall the engine.

Yup the Oshkosh were very similar. Think they had a 12 litre Cummins in them.

Here in Rogers County, OK we don't have any serious snow plows.

They are just 4 ft high single blade push plows added to the front of our dump trucks.
the trucks of course have a full load of Coal Cinders in them and they can backup and spread cinders over the bridges after they are plowed.
