There is another very good email provider, and they are still free.

I just checked out my account with them to make sure it is still working.

mail.lycos.com

the website interface is still very clean, worth a look if you are casting about for something different than what you have.

I dumped a couple of spammers off this forum using Proton mail. If they want a throw away email they need to use Mailinator. I just have 2 and that may be all.
I am looking at a secure browser that can be loaded to a stick, I think its Browzar.

I have one on a stick right now, it runs under the TAR format, and it runs totally on the stick and only uses static memory on the PC.

when you pull it out, even if you do so w/o properly shutting it down, there is a program in the memory that erases memory, and reboots the PC.

I have never used it, you plug it into a PC and the PC reboots now. or you just power off the PC and it takes over at bootup...
d
it runs on the TAR vpn darkside servers.... if you are interested, I will try to make a clone of it.

Sounds like something that might be safe for banking. This is the one I'm looking at: http://www.browzar.com and it sounds good. I'm running an Opera Browser and it has a feature where I can ask for a VPN. I tried it and while I live in Ohio, it had me coming from Houston Texas.
What's a 'Darkside Server'? Sounds like something out of a spy movie.

Darkside is the "other Internet web".

only those who have "the know" can access it, you need the IP address for a portal into it.

never have tried to get into it, that is where the pirates, and vile hackers live.

Ah, I think I'll pass. I don't think I want to get mixed up in that.
