Mozilla Has Turned Into Godzilla.

Anyone else having problems with the updated version of Firefox. I've lost all of my new page links and it's slowed way down.

Besides Google, is there an alternative?

Interesting... My new firefox is now screaming along faster than before. It beats Chrome hands down.

There's always Opera at http://www.opera.com/

If that's not to your liking, I think I have Netscape Navigator install floppy disk around here somewhere.

Firefox seems to have slowed down for me too but haven't lost anything. I seldom use it anymore anyway, got avast internet security and it comes with a browser I use most of the time.

For me, the speed increase is phenomenal. On my Win7 desktop.

Did not loose anything. They sure changed the appearance of the taskbar.

Firefox has never been fast, but no one else handles bookmarks as well as FF.

It now matches or maybe it's faster than Google Chrome.

me too - Firefox has never been faster and some of the new features are pretty cool... A little different but seems solid here...

I've got the links back, sort of. It wants me to go advertiser's sites.

Speed is getting slower. Something is wrong, but I can go back to Explorer...

Explorer, what my son called a browser for downloading another browser. Recently I had to completely remove firefox and reinstall it for similar reasons, kept redirecting me to sites I didn't want to visit, but chrome was doing the same thing, some kind of bug.
Just now updated to the new firefox and it is fast but now it looks a lot like the Avast safe zone browser.

it is, but on Linux Mint, the latest version is 56.0
they always lag behind months, if not years before they upgrade Firefox for some reason.

I just loaded FF 57.0 onto a Win7 ACER laptop, that only has 1.73 gB of RAM, and a 1.6 gHz processor. To say it is slow is being charitable.

But, FF is running just as fast on this laptop, as it does on my Win7 desktop PC that has 6 gB of RAM and a 3.x gHz processor.

so, just to have a web surfing laptop, the old ACER is doing a great job.
