Oh that would be awesome... I don't know... I only know about the rocks and such because when visiting he had a box full of empty apps and I asked about it - being shown a half full box of rocks at the same time.

But that would be classic.

Got 3 more scammers on the hook! Have 3 more M.O.'s on the wall. Now there sending more since the others must of been stolen out of my mail box, I sure hope the shipper is ok with the wait! LOL! My wife said I need a Hobby I think my motorcycles and doing my little part to make scammers life hard is enough.

Sometimes I feel compassion for the pathetic souls that work in the the telemarketing field and tell them outright they are wasting their time. Other times I am annoyed and run them a line. My record is about 20 seconds to get them to swear at me. Then I know I won.

Scammers after your CC numbers or trying to hijack your computer are a different breed. Two common ones are "Your computer is sending viruses" and "You have won a vacation, just give your CC info to confirm."

A recent telephone one up here is a single ring on your phone. If you're curious about who called you tap the call back option on your phone. It's a chargeable call at $300.00.

www.whocallsme.com is your friend! It's crowd-source data on phone numbers, so habitual scammers will have lots of reports! Of course, it won't catch the recent scammer technique of spoofing local phone numbers.

My policy: If the caller isn't in my contacts list and they don't leave a message, they get no response from me.

When I would get people i didn't know calling for one of my family members I would tell them if they find the worthless so-and-so to let me know so I can pass the information on to the sheriff's department. Usually never heard from them again. Now with caller ID and voicemail if I don't recognize the number I let it go to VMail. If it is important and legitimate they will leave a message. Never call back to an unknown number.

I have an app called Reverse Number on my cellphone. we don't have a landline.

if I get a call and it is Restricted, ferged aboot it....

if it is a number and I don't know it, I used Reverse Number to look it up.
if it comes back as a web address, it is a scammer.

this way, I don't need to copy/paste the number into a website.
