Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

According to https://www.etymonline.com/word/screw it was used to describe prison guards circa 1812 (possibly because of the keys they carried); also slang for key, 1795.

And to quote: Slang meaning "an act of copulation" is recorded from 1929 (meaning "a prostitute" is attested from 1725).

I bet most of you were expecting

"cylinder of wood or metal with a spiral ridge round it; hole in which a screw turns," c. 1400,
AZgl1800, gipsy42 and Screw like this.

Spending more time on my wife's hobby than the wing.

Back in the early 90s I flew ultralights. Loved every minute of it. Even when I went up when I shouldn't have due to high winds and when I went down when I shouldn't have due to a quiet engine. Open cockpit, wind in my face and flying close to the ground was great. A motorcycle comes very close to that when you reach the top of a hill and start down the other side with a large valley below coming up at you. Dosn't happen very often but when it does it's like flying low to the ground again.
