Anywho that extra hour of sunlight at home was good.

Now that I'm retarded I don't have to live by the clock so just pick one and stick with it.

We don't bother with it here and I sure don't miss it.

And it's a bit of a bother trying to keep track of what time it is when I call out-of-state friends or family, early or late.

This is a pretty good article on the subject. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/...e-it-stop.html

I think its outdated in terms of proven savings in energy. I'm all for leaving it the same as well. Want more daylight get out of bed earlier, Like Dave said! I am not a fan of the Government telling me what to do at all.

Getting out of bed earlier does not give you more hours of sunlight after work to get jobs done. Having two hours of sunlight before work and two hours after work is not as useful as having four hours after work. Or even three hours with daylights saving time.

Spending more time on my wife's hobby than the wing.

today in Phoenix the sun rose at 6:43 AM and will set at 6:33PM. If we would have moved to DST that would have been 7:43 AM and 7:33 PM effectively lengthening the day since we will still get up at 7 or 6 or as I do 4:30 AM anyway.

I can see the desire to push back sunset but it really does not make sense in the desert and I'm not sure it makes sense anywhere else anymore. If you think about it an earlier sunset could benefit a lot of tourism drive economies especially those on the water.

Depends on if you work at a set time, or work when its light. I didnt even remember time had changed until I went to the store to buy oil and stuff to do the motorcycles and my pick-up. I used to love to go to work. Now I dont miss it, I havnt worked since I hurt my knee last June. Now looks like another surgery...

When I lived in Phoenix, I had to be at work at 0600.... so I arose at 0500 to get there...

The evening hours never helped me much, as we worked 10 and 12 hour days anyway.... what we all liked best was use the 4/3 swing shifts..... 4 days at 10 hours and 3 days at home.
