Mechanic Memes: it only needs a starter

Honest, it drives just fine, all I want is for you to put in a starter.

That's about the worst I've ever seen. How do people drive something like that?
Had a guy call me a few weeks ago and said his brakes were "starting to make noise". He had worn through the pads until the inner one cam out and the caliper piston was rubbing on what was left of the rotor. When I took the caliper off the piston fell apart, one of those Chrysler plastic pistons. About 1 more stop and he would have been out of brakes. Got that fixed and a wheel bearing sounded like a wood chipper.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

If I disagree with you it's simply because you're wrong.

I was standing on a parking garage ramp and heard a crunch / grind sound like a bad shift. I looked at a car at the top of the ramp and the front wheels were pointing in different directions. Then a bunch of ball bearings rolled down the ramp. Don't you think it was steering a bit funny before it fell apart?

Saw a beater Lexus at a gas station on the way to work with the right front wheel pointing straight out away from the car. The left front wheel was pointing straight ahead.

It sat there blocking one of the pumps for a week before it got hauled off.
