I use an APP called 'Should I Answer'. I think it may already be obsolete but it works great. If the person's number that is calling you is not in your calling list, it does not ring your phone. The only thing that caller can do is leave a voice mail. I also have a Text App called QKSMS. I think it is a partner APP to Should I answer. It too works great. No more texts from anyone I do not know.

Wish I could use those, but as I have to take calls from folks who want a password fixed, I just answer them all..... and if there is a funky, or non-existent number, I wait 5 seconds, say somethink funky,,, 'whadda ya want?' and if that don't stop the PC voice, I just hit ignore, and enter that number into my Blacklist

Never have the same number call me twice that way.

and, with the huge amount of doctor's offices, having 10 extensions, I never know if my doctor is calling.... I can't not answer

I will look into those. The Google calls may or may not be directly from google itself. However they are representing google so they are from google no matter what they say. I also can't not answer my calls. Doesn't do any good to block the numbers as they never use the same number twice. They are even using local prefix numbers now.

yeah,
the recent robo calls that I get all have Tulsa numbers, my VZW Caller ID shows them as Tulsa, and usually they have a fake name to go with it.

As I said, the calls are not blocked, your phone just does not ring when numbers not in your call list attempt to call you.

The calls go to voice mail after a few rings. If the caller leaves a voice mail, you will get notification of it. Robo callers do not normally leave voice mails.

If you are a sales professional, it is not practical to have a call blocker.

I have and in Chinese. On my I phone if I don't recognize the number I can text a custom message. Mine is "Identify yourself and I'll call you back"
