Paint a tag along trailer

Has anyone painted a tag along trailer? If so what kind of tips to make it look good

Mine isn't wood, fiberglass I think or plastic. It is the Harbor Freight tag along that I have

The body of that trailer is probably polyethylene. It is extremely hard to get paint to stick to it. I once tried to paint a Sears car top carrier to use on my home built trailer. Even with the plastic adhesion primer, the paint wanted to peel off. Try painting a plastic milk bottle (same material), nothing sticks.

You can try using Krylon Fusion. It's made for plastics, but may not stick to polyethylene. Even epoxy won't stick to it.
