when i am adding a url, i have searched high and low for the link button to save everyone from my mile long links...I can not find it anywhere.....I give up.....any hints

You'll have to do it the long way, like I've shown before.

If you are using Firefox for the PC or Mac, etc, for getting on the internet, you do not get all the features of the software that runs this board. IF you use Internet Explorer, you see the link button. If you use a far superior browsing proigram, you do not. Safari for Mac doesn't work right at all either.

Of all the boards I have been to, this is the only one that is so darn picky about what kind of machine and surfing program you use. Whoever wrote the code needs to find another job.

Actually that isn't true. Invisionboard also experience this issue and Eazyboard did as well. Not all the time, but its there. The problem is with Firefox not providing full compatability with some forums. These forums were around before FF, soFF didn't do their homework well. The sad thing is that they aren't doing anything to improve it and thats why Microsoft alwys wins because they release patches when they find bugs.
