As I had stated earlier, I will have some stuff to give away as I just do not feel right keeping it now. Many things I put on Gl Jim's bike, some things I did not, some things are what is left after I upgraded Jim's bike(coils, points etc). I am not quite sure how to do it. If I use 1st come 1st serve, it may not give everyone a chance as many do not frequent here as often as others. I could do it by PM'ing me and highest post count ? or just do 1st come 1st serve ? Or, do I sell it on ebay and give all the proceeds back to the board in donations ? This is what i was going to do, but then thought if people saw me selling things on ebay it might not look right.
Sort of a quandry for me as I want to do the right thing. Any ideas ?

Yep, I would offer any leftovers to the first person to respond from the Forum community and if you do not have any takers then post them to Ebay. That way youwould have a clear conscious.

my thinking was, if I sell it on ebay, then i could obviously give more money to the board. If I try and give it away, then it is basically a first come first serve kind of deal. If I did this, i would hope the stuff went to someone who really needed it as opposed to someone who just wants it for a spare etc......
But if I do sell it on ebay, there may be someone here who really needs it, then I would feel bad about him having to buy it......
Stuff will probably not be much, but on ebay should bring a few hundred dollars, which i would love to give back to the board , then again, i would also like to see someone get it who needs it.....
oh what to do ...I know it sounds silly, but I really could use some opinions as I have obvioulsy never been here before.

Sell all the parts and give me the money, I need a camper trailer. It will be going to a good cause, an unemployed graduate student who has $75,000 to pay back.

Keep on Winging

Don, I don't think anyone will really mind how you dispose of the parts, Reading your other post about your ride in the rain, perhaps you could use some of the money to purchace some over covers for your shoes, that might keep the wet out, without compromising your comfort. What about some of those over gaiter things, like climbers use to keep snow from entering their boots

You just concentrate on getting that bike and you riding happily together and worry about the money another day!!
