My wife and I had our 1st real ride together today, and it was great.

We do need the headsets for the intercom. I would appreciate recommendations on what works best with a full face helmet. My wire had a modular full face if it makes any difference.

Thanks,

Terry

I use the J&M stuff but there are about 3 major choices out there. I just can't remember the other two.

Great you got to ride together on a longer ride.
I had my intercoms go 'bad' after a while.

They have a J&M hedset that is 59.99!

I just ordered 2 of them, they are a cheaper model but the still have good ratings.

Yes, you get to ride that great bike longer than we will. And before it's done, you will be the most knowlegable, most experienced one on the board after we're all long gone.

I use and swear by Edsets. They are fantastic and Ed stands 110% behind his product. When I broke a wire to the headset (my own fault) Ed sent me notone but two spares free of charge. I cannot praise them enough.

No Rudy, if that were possible with exavid, he would have overcome that electrical power black out he's suffering from now. Brace yourselves everybody, when his power goes back on, he's going to have a backlog of "stuff" to say, and I'm sure it's going to flow.

Actually, even less than that--around $56 something--cause you are a VIP customer or the like.

I have one on the way too. It looks to be more robust than the IMC one that people were buying. I guess I shall soon see. Is this a new offering from J&M and was it really $99 before this sale price????

Hawker22, glad you mentioned the IMC in a negative light. I have gone through two sets in very quick order. In both cases, the boom mic broke at the base within days of receiving them, so I gave up and went with the far superior J&M headsets. IMC replaced the first headset without any questions, but it was obvious that I would just be eating up more money on shipping back a weak product. The second set broke three days after use.
