Just received the foot pegs i ordered off Bikers Best for1200 Interstate 1984.

I currently have boards and heel/toe shifter which i'm changing. Problem is i can't see which goes which side and how they fit. Ihave chrome panels on either side which hides everything plus the boards, before i start jsut thought it would be easier if some one could advce me first.

Also only received one bolt, washer, nut with foot pegs. Is that correct ?

Any help would be much appreciated. James

Hi James, assuming we're talking about the dirver's pegs if you look at your floor boards theymost likely have one bolt in the rear. That should be the place your new pegs mount. If the pegs are like the OEM ones, they have one bolt and a fixed boss that mounts to the bike. Look for a threaded hole with a smaller hole near it on the left side of the bike bike frame, the little boss in the peg mount goes into the smaller hole and the one bolt should thread into the hole in the bike's frame. It's easy to see which peg goes on which side, if you get them wrong they'll fit upside down. On the right side there's a stud that sticks out from the frame, the peg slips over that and a nut holds it in place with a lock washer.

Thanks Exavid i will look at them after i've finished work.

Just it's not obvious because i have chrome panels all down the sides covering everything up which were on the bike when i bought it a few months ago. Need to take chrome panels and boards off first then i will understand what your saying.

Thanks for help. James
