Hobo has finally surfaced here in the UK. He went with a bunch of us to Ireland last week, mainly because he heard that we were going to visit the Guinness factory in Dublin!!
Here he is seen tucking into a full Irish breakfast before starting the tour..

Well, the Bear is Back.

He vanishes off around the world without so much as a by your leave, never writes, never rings, not even an e-mail in over two years!

..and then he waltzes through the door like he'd never left, parks himslef infront of the TV and expects to be served beer!

Clearly, Hobo has been led astray over the last couple of years.

Howdy folks.

Take no notice of that Geordiemuppet fella. When I got back to Boldon Colliery, Geordiemuppet, Christine and Vasco were so pleased to see me, they couldn't do enough - and I was given every single one of those beers.

What a difference a couple of years make - Vasco is all grown up now and riding her own bike, a Gilera Cougar 125 which looks pretty cool.

Its been an interesting coupe fo years, bouncing around the USA. I flew back over the pond with SB in SC and met up with Silverfox and Helen the Viking.
Then before you could say "It wasn't me Officer" we were on the boat and heading across to the Emerald Isle where I met lots of friends old and new, including Wexman. The weather was pretty good (for Ireland) but the highlight of the trip was a tour round the Guinness brewery in Dublin.

So, since accepting the invitation to be your Mascot in 2007, I've been to Ireland (twice), Holland, Belguim, Luxembourg, France, Sweden, Scotland, Wales, all over England and, during 3 seperate jaunts to the USA, that many States I've lost count and a couple of trips up to Canada. Wow, I've met so many of you over the last 6 - 7 years and been led astray by quite afew of you, but Boy, has it been fun and long may it continue.

Next weekend, I am going to the Border Wing Ding with GM and Christine, then the following weekend, it off again, this time to Trent Wing Ding. I will get GM to post the evidence (sorry, I mean photos).

Then, I will be looking for pastures new, I would quite like to try somewhere new that I haven't been before, so open to suggestions. The only requirements are good friends, party times and lots and lots of beer.

Howdy folks, me again. I've been keeping a prettty low profile!
We did the Border Wing Ding at Darlington Rugby Club which was great.

But then, after Christine read up on my exploits, she took me to Church! That's right, Church. And I have to say the Vicar did look down her nose at me a bit when she heard about my adventures, hence the low profile.

After that, we did Trent Wing Ding the following weekend at Buxton Rugby Club in Derbyshire, another great weekend.

The current plan is to stay over here until the British Treffen then head back to London with Koxxy.

Hopefully then, I will be able to stow away with Silverfox and Helen the Viking when they go to America in Sptember.

A beautiful sunny day here in North East England, so I got out on thye bikes with Geordiemuppet, Christine and Derek to visit new places.

We had a ride North through Blyth and up the coast stopping at Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island.

Holy Island, or Lindisfarne, is an Island of the Northumberland coast that is reached via a causeway at low tide.
Lindisfarne is famous for its Priory and its monks who make Lindisfarne Mead.

We then rode back to GM and Christine's via Wooler.
