Hated to do it,but had to put the bike away yesterday.Actually could have rode it yesterday, but wanted to get it cleaned up and put away while it was dry weather.Oh well it is that time of year in the North.Time to get the winter scoot out I guess.

It is but the sled is a lot more expensive to run for the day.Not Hard to spend $60 for fuel compared to $20 to $30 on the bike.Ontario has fairly extensive groomed trail system.Something like 35,000 klm's I believe. It's kind of like cruising around the back roads on the Wing. Here is another picture out on Georgian Bay that is apart of Lake Huron.I don't know if you can see it or not ,but there is open water on either side of the marked trail.

I'm glad it doesn't get that cold, even in Fartkansas. I'd rather be riding the bike.

You have to learn to go with the cold, and enjoy it. As for the ride, some of those puppies would give a Goldwing all it could handle. We just don't get enough steady snow here in NS for me to have a sled, but NB does and so does northern Ont. I had a Honda 300 4X4 for a few years though--Loads of fun.

I kind of envy you Chris. Ride on.

I don't really use the bike for transportation so the snowmobile is a bit of a change in toys for a few months.Just long enough for you to forget how many times you rode on the same roads weekend after weekend.Getting so I have to ride for at least 2 hours to find a road I haven't seen in a while.I hear ya about the ATV Ken,they are starting to have clubs and trails in Ont. just like the sled trails started out.For the most part they are snowmobile trails for now.A lot of the guys at work have ATV weekends once in a while. They usually trailer somewhere and stay over and ride for a couple of days.
