Been looking at getting a GPS for the bike, so far the Zumo 550 has my vote. Have I made a good choice or is their something better?

There are a few of those on wings for sure. Eventually one of those users will report on here for you.

From what I remember they were very satisfied. Some said that you can use the touch screen with gloved hands pretty good.

You might do a search, surely something will surface for you.

Pulled one off the VXT1300 as the bike is for sale. The 550 is one nice piece of machinery. Sorry, can't help with anything further on the GW.

I bought a Zumo 550 after doing some research. It cost more than some other very capable units but since I like gagets it was the one for me. The GPS mapping portion works as advertised. I use the MP3 player to play my music. And I have the cell phone working thru the helmet Mic. It came with two mounts. One for the bike and one for your car.
