Hi All,

Has anyone purchased a gel pad from American Motorcycle Specialities?
What are they like to deal with and how good is the product, was thinking about ordering the comfort max pad with sheepskin cover.
I have e-mailed them twice to see if they will ship to the UK and what it would cost (had no reply to either).
Can anyone recommend same or similar from other suppliers??

Regards Steve

I have a Saddlemen/travelcade with gelpad inside. I bought it used and am not overly impressed with them. Maybe this seat is worn out. A friend of mine got a gelpad and they said it did almost nothing but get hot. At this point, I can't endorse it.

I bought a Saddleman and my wife has used it on her 750 Shadow. She says not much difference if any.I have use it a time or two. I am wanting to put it in the cooler and try it on one of those 100 degree days. So I will agree with Psalmist can't endorse a gel pad yet. Maybe if I use it for a 300 TO 500 mile day it may be different.

My wife bought a Butt Buffer brand gel pad, and says that her tailbone doesn't hurt after a few hours of riding.
