Assuming the bike isn't problematic how often do you check your tire pressure and oil level?

When I was flying Pipers and Cessnas we checked every flight. With the cage it's a lot less frequent.

Since I commute on all three bikes every week I usually do a weekend once over unless I feel changes during a ride.

It's rare too for me to go more than a day or two with out riding my 1200. I check the oil at least once a week and try to check the tire pressure the same. Now if I decide to run more than the 20 miles one way to town, or very far 2up, I check the tires before the trip.

Check everything before leaving the house for a trip.

While on the road ......

Visually inspect tires at every fuel stop (200 miles or so). I run sealer/balancer in my tires so they don't loose pressure very rapidly. Check pressure at oil change (extremely rare to be more than 2 lbs off).

Check oil more often when pulling trailer. The 1100 check every 1000 miles or so. The 1800 hasn't burned any in 4000 miles so that may be my check point for it.

Frequency of use will greatly dictate how often you check various parts.
