I keep finding things on my gold wing that aren't in the op,s book, like a CB, and intercom, etc and a plug on the left side of the tank,I guess that ones for helmet speakers and mic that you can talk on the CB and use the intercom between you and rider. so I guess I need a couple of head sets? with the right plug? and were do I find good ones? what cost? witch one to say away from?

You guys have been great help thanks

Neil

Many places carry the basic J and M headsets. They can be purchased for around 60 dollars per set.

I honestly cannot tell the difference between them and the 250 dollar sets.

Places like wingstuff, wingworld and so on carry them. Kit

The 1800 is my bike. The very best motorcycle ever made. I was enthralled with my first test ride on this machine. It is a great bike. A crotch rocket with storage bags.............As for oil I use the slick kind, and I like round tires, but as of late I have found square ones work best on the rear. Pirelli Eufori 195/55/16 @ 32 PSI

On the left side of your bike at the bottom of the seat at the back is a second plug for the passenger. when you buy your head set set up you can buy single or double. you can get many different types that mount to a wide variety of helmets. you can also look here.

You may have to pop the battery cover, and look behind the battery, or even up under the seat for the 2nd plug. If they weren't being used, alot of owners found little places to hide them.
