Just joined this forum today, what a great site. I just got a 1976 GL1000 and am looking to put a small windshield on it. Any ideas on what works best?
Thanks
Jeff

Welcome to the site Jeff! I bought my windshield online at jc whitney for less than $60 Canadian. It fit perfect.

Do you have a fairing or is your bike the one in your avatar?

If ya cant fix it with a hammer, it's prolly lectrical

I had a Plexistar windshield on my 1100 Standard that I liked, I plan on putting one on my 1000 this spring. It looks good on a naked Goldwing and gives a surprising amount of wind protection for a small shield. At 90+ mph it really reduced the wind pressure on my chest an helmet.
