It seems like we've been waiting forever for the car companies to come up with some hyper efficient vehicles. So if you're looking for some economical wheels to run until Detroit gets off their collective duffs, here's a solution you can buy this weekend. This three wheeled two seat trike was built by a Ford fuel economy expert for his own use, but now he wants to make room for new projects.

Built around a 250cc motorcycle engine, the trike can squeeze 125 miles from a single gallon of gas at a constant 65 MPH, aided by the 0.16 drag coefficient and 505 pound curb weight. It's street legal too, and is currently registered as a motorcycle in Michigan.

If you're interested bid fast, the Ebay auction ends tomorrow.
