Ok Im back with another question. I changed my fog light bulbs to the Sylvania Silverstar H3ST and they are tons brighter. Now I want to do the same with my headlights. So what bulb should I use and how hard is it to change them out? I heard the bright lights arent hard to change but the low beams are a different story. Any good ideas as to how to make it easy for an old trucker with arthitic hands?...

Thanks yet again for the great advice.....Gashauler

I'm not going to get into what bulb but the low beams can be done from under the front or in back by turning the bars to one side. It's the high beams that are a problem. A person with small hands might be able to change them by removing the fairing pockets but probably the best way would be to remove the front upper cover.

low beams are very easy to change

i've tried brighter PIAA H7 bulbs, yes they are a little brighter but a lot more expensive and very short life (over $55 for a pair), one bulb lasted 9,000 miles and the other one lasted 10,000 i won't be buying them again

never changed a hi beam but from what i've heard they are a lot more difficult
