Left the house at 7ish this morning with a temp at 31 degrees. Rode an hour or so and stopped at my buddys for the day. Headed home at 5 to a warmer 46 degrees. Tomorrow for the first day of spring they are calling for possibly of wet snow. I put the Wing back in the garage for the weekend. I keep telling myself it will get warmer soon.

Added a couple of chrome side rails that I got ages ago but forgot about , checked the fluids and then spent a couple of hours giving her a bath and then a good polish.
Took her out for a spin to get petrol and noticed the voltmeter I installed telling me that my Alt was not charging the battery. luckily I wasn't too far from home and the alt is now in an auto electricians for a refurb ... so I just get to stare longingly at the wing tilI get my Alt back

Rechecked the timing belts i put on last year and checked the bolts to make sure they were tight.

Found 2 spark plugs finger tight. Not sure if oldtimers had something to do with that. Never had them do that before and probably my fault from when i checked them last year when installing the new timing belts and tensioners.
29k on the NGK iridiums and still going strong.

MIGHT be able to get out of the shed and through the yard today to go for the first ride of the year. Pretty soft yet but maybe.............

Went out a started the 95 parked in the outside shed, up, when i took the aftermarket chrome battery cover off two of the pegs broke off, used some JB Weld plastic bonder and a few strands of carbon fiber, battery was a bit low.
Cannot ride yet, too much slush, maybe next week, bought a new pair of leather pants and a shirt.
Temps are just over 50f every day right now.
Might be two weeks before i can get Mollies 93 out of the back room.

So how is this Project going Silverado? I bet I am not the only one whishing for some pics.
As for my GL, yesterday I uncovered, took from under the pergola at the car port started and went town to pick some veggies at Costco, more than a week waiting for the weather to improve, unusual heavy storms and really bad weather, hail, floods, etc, preceeded the Spring... The large Ameca River, les than a mile away flooded the surroundings, not my place anyway, in a short while will take a sunday sunny ride.

Aired her up and fired her up. Ran around the block (my block is about 30 miles) and parked her. Did a walk around and saw a drip of oil from the right side. Did not have time to investigate. Ran pretty good for a 30 year old girl. And felt good to ride since Nov of last year.

Mollies bike is for the most part finished, anything else from now is just extra bling, i really need to road test it, never rode this bike, i know it runs like a swiss watch but after its wreck and resurrection its still stuck in the hot tub room behind the house covered up and on the tender.

The path around to the front driveway is mostly clear of snow, i took the snowblower to it last month, just slush and patches of frozen water, lots of scrub trying to grow back, the two main driveways to the cul de sac though are still too unsafe for any bike bike, just about another week maybe, every day is clear and sunny.
Saw on the news two bad bike wrecks in Florida, a 21 year old girl and a couple on a Gl1800 by the look of it,a 69 year old man died, his 56 year old female partner is in critical condition, so sad, no news yet here on the forum about it.
Its the season of the blind idiots, they cannot see a motorcycle, they dont care. Maybe im being too critical but i will deal with that course in life. Life can , and always will be short and can be taken away at any time, make the most of it, i feel sad that woman lost her partner.
