Are you having the amps upgraded while its in the shop?
Agreed on that Tom, mostly why I installed the voltmeter.
I hadnt planned on getting the Alt boosted , it works fine as it is but if the guy offers to do it I wont be complaining.

I threw a Slime air compressor and a first aid kit into the saddlebags and will be adding a wire harness to make turn the spoiler brake light into a running light.

Put a new JVC stereo on so I could blue tooth my music instead of having to plug in.

I went to the Honda dealer looking for a new brake master cylinder cover, gasket, and bolts because mine has a coin holder on it and it looks stupid.
$52 for the cover. I walked out and figured I will have to look elsewhere. I just want a cover not a new master cylinder.

I ordered up a FM wireless radio modulator so that I can use the 3.5 mm audio jack to make noises over the bike's speakers w/o having to modify anything.

Now I don't have to buy a GPS for the bike, my Android phone with CoPilot USA can talk to me loud enough I can hear it with the helmet over my ears.

I tried using earbuds, but damn those things hurt when a helmet is snugged down on top of them.

First, welcome to the forum.
That cover lists for $25,84 so 52 bucks, even from the crooked dealers sounds pretty extreme. Like so many on this site, you may learn to use my local dealer. They're asking less than 20 dollars for the cap.

Why ain't we ridin'?

Turns out my Alt is dead and although it can be repaired it was in the wing when I got it about 7 years ago so I've deciced to order a new 85amp one from Lactrical .it will take about 2/3 weeks to arrive and when i have it installed I may send the old one of for a refurb so i'll have a back up if neccesary. until then I'll be polishing .

Bought this leather shirt last week, thought it would be the right size, nope, oh i can wear it but it would be tight across the shoulders too much while riding, it was an XL, plus i put on a few belly pounds, not bad but a little, so i decided to just order another this time in 2XL.
Its kinda like a really light jacket, doesnt have inside pockets like the one from Leatherup.

Also a pair of kevlar leather pants should be at the post office tomorrow.

Driveway and subdivision almost melted, going riding soon, maybe tomorrow, first time this season.

Nice looking shirt, but at 270# it is doubtful it will fit me
