Pulled the bike cover off the 95 thats been out in the bike shed, started it up, backed it up out of shed into the sunlight, wiped down kitty paw prints and dust, applied some Meguires synthetic polish to all painted surfaces, used Auto Detailer on all plastic, cleaned seat. Too windy to ride, gusts were over 35mph, temps were under 50f, so bike got put back in shed. Went inside and watched Intersteller the BlueRay movie, darn good! Probably the most accurate of all sci fi films i have ever seen, no Vulcans, no Wookies, no Blade Runner.
Its so flagrantly predictive its no wonder certain groups hated it.
Makes me go into a mental overdrive of how best to design a motorcycle on another planet.

Did a little painting in the morning. Around noon I jumped on the Wing and headed west. I took 376 west to 22/30 west and just stayed on 22. I rode all the way into West Virginia then crossed the bridge into Ohio. Took route 7 for a few miles then turned around and headed back home. Wanted to get the rest of my painting done. It was a beautiful day here. The high this afternoon was 80, this was long overdue. I put about 60 plus miles on her today.

Put a new windshield, heel-toe shifter, front tire, fairing speakers and polished the front rim. Next is an Ultimate seat I hope!

I love to ride!!!!!!! Wish everything in life gave me that much pleasure

Did first commute to work this year and it felt great. Took a different route home due to road construction detours and it had these crazy rising and diving curves. What a way to kick off the new riding season. So wish to ride year round like some of you guys.

Fixed that which was not broken.

Starter motor in my GL1100 that is. It cranked OK, but I knew she could do better. Bought new brushes, but the ones inside have plenty of life so didn't change them. Cleaned out the carbon and the old grease and shined up the armature. Lubed 'er up and reinstalled. Cranks a lot faster now!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

Changed the oil, flushed the rad, changed the fuel filter, washed the air filter then did a test run of 260 miles. Not enough o's in smooooth to describe the sound of the 1200!
