Finally got around to the title transfer on the 93 Goldwing i rebuilt from a nasty wreck over the winter, the bike has been finished for several months but was unable to get it out of the house cause of snow, snow is finally gone and ground semi dried out.
Paid an extra $25 and bought the permanent tags for it, no more expiration dates ever!
Going to a custom bike show today, its a shame i could not get a couple of bikes in it like Mollie and i had plans to do.

aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh first ride of the year. Took Goldy off the maintainer, checked fluids, puffed up the tires and put 90 miles on her! Now in Brockport, NY have her all cleaned and ready for the next ride. Serviced her and put her away last Nov. She started like she had been parked over night and ran like all faithful 1200's.

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

Went to Anchorage for the custom bike show, dissapointed that so few bikes were entered.
Here is some pics of two Gl1000 bikes fully restored and a nice gl1500 with a trailer.
That was it as far as Goldwings, no new ones at all even at the vendors side if the pavilion, they did have the F6B, i sat on it and it felt like sitting on a railroad tie, so thats a deal breaker for me, drove down to the Honda dealership down the road and this year they will not have any new Goldwings, special order only.

I was interested in the F6B, but that was the worst seat i have ever sat on, i am 5' 10", about 220, 32 " inseam, bike felt feather light but what a terrible seat!

Right now its very dry, dusty, windy, and gray, no green at all, no spring yet, its partly sunny and just over 50f, but right after winter the whole state around me is a mess, the snow is mostly gone but now you have all the silt and garbage and with no major rain nothing is growing yet, trees are bare, place looks like a black and white movie up here right now.
Just the last hour after driving all day to Anchorage and back i am coughing and hacking from the dust, almost nobody is riding either. Maybe another week or two.

Was a nice day for riding. Tried out music over SMH10. Was cool but still need some tweeking on setup. Put new cheekpads in my helmet and it was noticeably more comfortable. Lost a little weight over the winter I guess because I'm swimming in my jacket now.

Brought out the rebuilt 93, its the one in the thread "Building the Mollie Ragonesi Tribute bike" from the back side of the house in my old hot tub room, actually the tub us still there, empty and on its side. Had to remove a door and a sawzalled piece of wall.
Here it is on the right with my 95 on the left.

Rode the 93 up to the gas station for a road test, felt great! Went right up to 75 mph easy, and wanted to go faster!

Did my 96k service today.

Was very apprehensive to tear into the wing for the air filter. But after studying the information on here, and making a copy of it, I decided to go for it.

Took me 2 hours from start to finish, just for the air filter. Afterwards, found out the PO changed it 45k miles ago. I've only owned the bike for 5k miles.

What a difference! It's like a whole new bike.

Took her out for a ride today, about a tank full of a ride. My mpg jumped from an average of 39mpg to 46 today! And I wasn't being nice. I think I will get a little better.

Was just so happy with how she came to life.

Thank you all, for the information to give me enough courage to tackle this daunting task.
