Put some seafoam in the fuel. Took a ride down to a demo ride going on at a yamaha/star dealership. Got to ride some brand new bikes and have a little fun

I had a fella in Anchorage gave me $500 and this 86 Yamaha Venture Royale for my 95 Yamaha Virago 750, it was a pristine mint bike, no mods, low miles, the Venture was too big in the city for him, my Virago too small for the open road, so now i have this to compete with my Goldwings.
He had removed the mufflers and used turn down tips coming straight off the collector aimed out, bike sounded like an old 283 with glass packs, way too loud for my taste but better than any Harley sound i have heard.

Stole a pair of mufflers off another older Venture i am not riding, installed a trunk rack and side bag guards today, flushed all fluids, changed oil, fixed a problem with the CLASS air suspension controller which i may build into my next Goldwing project that will automatically rider adjust front and rear suspension.

Runs great, not as smooth or whisper quiet next to a flat 6, bike is slighter lighter than my gl1500 bikes, more top heavy, i love having gear indicators and a built in volt meter on theses, in some ways i prefer a Venture over the Goldwing, i sit on it better for one thing, handlebars fit better too.

Just comparing a Venture to a Goldwing here, funny thing is over at the Ventureriders forum they upgraded as well, but i cannot post any pics at all, even with a paid subscription, their loss i guess, here my Galaxy Tab Pro works just fine.

Thanks John, these Mk2 Ventures with the 1300 motors are getting scarce, i see three times the amount or more older Goldwings, to me they are a historical unique bike, well worth getting, maintained properly they are attention getters. These are bikes that i hunt for in Alaska and i am willing to pay just a little bit extra for them.
They went into non production of a sorts, you could until a year or so ago buy a new Venture Royale, bigger v4 engine but its just a big cruiser wannabe now, Yamahas slowest selling bike, its nothing in comparison to a new Goldwing, so its demise of its full fairing form can be attributed to Goldwings.

And that is why i developed an interest. Its more unique, they have that angular predator look, reminds me of a Mig 29 jet.
I ordered a set of 18 watt cree led 4" spotlights to replaced those stock halogen driving lights. Should lighten the load on the stator. My kitties love the bike.

Doggon John, my new job is throwing money at me, i should just send it to you, you buy them, get a commision, store them until i come down with a toy hauler.
The ones i want are the 86 and newer, the Mk 2 1300cc ones.

Dan, use SearchTempest and insert the zipcode of 74053 which is Oologah where I live.

I will be happy to take care of anything you want me to look at.
I have a F-150 with a m/c trailer behind it.

Let me know if something just must be in your stable

Last night i got a wild hair and grabbed Sandy and we rode into Wasilla on Mollies tribute bike, nice evening, sun was still up at 10pm, we went to the Bingo hall that Mollie and i used to go to, met the regulars and the owners, told them about Mollies last bike she and i picked up to restore, they were totally slamdunked by the transformation of it before and after, especially the "Riding with Angels" decal on the front and the touchscreen radio with her picture.

Mollie was a devout bingo player, me i kinda liked it at first but after awhile and no wins it gets old, i joked with her the Bingo Gods do not like me.

Well......

I won two $500 games last night on just $60

I believe there was some higher level help.
