Hey Bob, keep looking and you may find more pets. Air cleaners are one of their favorite places.
Anyway, welcome to the forum.
And would you please put some information in your profile? City, state and bike model at least.

Sure, if you don't mind sharing your fuzzy cheese. Mice really don't eat that much, especially since they'll be supplementing their diet with wiring and vacuum hoses.

Started repairing, and sanding the fairing lowers, last night.
I also have to sand the front fender and the rear fender extension.
I hope to be able to paint them this coming week.

Ok, I started sanding the front fender ,and I decided to remove the mounting brackets from it.
The main reason,is because they had old paint around them, and it's hard to sand around them, and they have a touch of rust,so I'll paint them,as well.
First,Drill the heads off from the rivets, from the outside .
As the head falls free, you will see a shouldered spacer. there are 6,in all.
DON"T LOSE THEM!! Keep the washers,on the reverse side,as well, and remove them from the rivet shaft.
Do the sanding,on the fender. I use a Lawn tractor inner tube,or,even an old 15" tire to support it,while sanding or painting. It keeps the fender steady.
In the last pic,you can see the moulding button,on the top/center of the fender.
I'll clean it up,and use the ABS "slurry" to round it,and then sand it smooth.Much better than body filler.

Just waiting on my trike getting the nod from the road tax folk, thought i would re-torque the front axle holders. Snapped one of them, now need to wait on another stud getting delivered. Think i'll leave alone on Sundays - always seem to break something.

Not riding today, this is about 25 miles north of me, main highway is closed off, forestry trucks everywhere, roads are packed with people fleeing or being turned around, picture is recent, i think about 2 hours ago, very hot, 76 degrees, wind is heading south.
Will hope it gets contained.

Hope they get it under control, soon!
