Was desperate I guess, on the local marketplace classifieds, my daughter found aset of brand new folding 7 ft ramps from Lowes......

wow, for $75, I called him and said SOLD...

he was at church, and not getting home until 8 PM,, we chased the deer running through the fog banks, and got back home safe and sound.

Last night I cleaned under the seat and put my new cover on! It's made by Ultra Guard, I plan to use it daily next summer in the work parking lot

Anyway back to working on my wing installed neon coil conversion this morning starts great.found no issues, other than age with old coils and original spark wires.while I have it apart installed a set of airborne inside and under fairing.also replaced broken set of running lites.waited to late in week to order New tires.so that will wait until Tuesday. Tomorrow will put on bike Jack remove space case.then service final drive.remove wheels and wait on tires.

Cleaned the Bike up and rode it Christmas Shopping, got everything done and had lunch at Arbey's . Don't like shopping much but the bike makes it a lot more fun. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.

I was doing Preventive Maintenance last night checking my secondary ignition system (ie: plugs/wires) everything is in good shape there, BUT I did find that notorious GL 1500 left head Vacuum line was collapsed. I repaired that with a short piece of hose and a brass barbed fitting from the hardware store. While looking around the exposed engine I noticed the foam weather striping that goes around the air ducts was crumbling with age - bought the weather strip shown in pictures below and split it in half length ways to make it 1/4" x 1/4". see pictures below - I did the same to both sides of the bike
1st & 2nd pics = the weather strip I used
3rd pic =collapsed vacuum line right near cyl 4
4th pic = weather strip installed -- see vacuum line repair lower right of picture
