Be aware Screw that the rear brakes on the '84 are linked to one of the front calipers too. Look up the bleeding procedures to avoid wasting time.

If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

He must know that as the one he's bleeding is the linked side.

So I finished the Brakes and bled the clutch as well, Even straightened the left rear bag that had always had a slight droop. Cant believe that the inside pad was worn the way it was it had got behind the lil spring tension-er when the last pads were replaced. Was going to do the headlight today but going to wait and start it in the morning.

Since I wasnt going to do the Headlight on the 1200 today. I pulled the carbs on my GL1100 and decided to check them out. What a mess, Had to order gaskets and Air Cut Valves diaphragms. So now I have to wait for parts. So the day is done I think. On the upside its coming together very well, and should be road ready by spring!

Well got the HID light in as well as the regulator for it, went fast actually since I have already pulled my Radio out while I wait on the one to arrive that I ordered last week. Biggest part was feeding the 2 wires and one plug up to the regulator which I put behind and under the radio compartment. Noticed the feather if you switch between HI/LOW the low beam will flash, which I will never use except in a emergency situation where I need to be seen. I will say I like the way the light looks as well. Now to tend my burned arm, I got it on the wood stove putting wood in and it just melted my skin!

Put the new battery in and wouldn't you know it...it's bigger than the OEM.

I just don't have good luck with batteries. Something tells me that size isn't going to be the biggest problem I have with the gel.

Anyway, I managed to force it into the space available.

Why ain't we ridin'?

I was going to mention from your first post that I love looking at people's garages and I'd bet that that stove would warm yours up pretty easily. Then I see that you have burned yourself and it answered my question. BTW, at the end of the riding season I put on an LED headlight and I love it. I guess I am now "that guy" that blinds people but I don't care

I never get blinked even though I have the brights on all of the time. I can't adjust the light while on dim for some reason. By god people see me coming down the road now. Let em pull out in front of me now. (Too many times already)

I couldn't fix my brakes so I made the horn louder
Motor started to knock. Turned up the radio.

Yes, have a Kerosene heater for the first warm up, then use the wood stove to maintain it. I been cleaning the wing all day even cleaned my Beer Fridge it was just gross from the left over drippings of Elk and deer season. Going to work late tonight in the shop and put new cables on the GL1100. I need to have a dang yard sale or list some stuff on Craigslist but I hate to do that as soon as I get rid of something I end up needing it!... John.
