Great timing,,,,,,, Earl is suppose to hit the New England states just when I was planning to ride up to Mt Washington.

No sense in going if I can't make it up the mountain. So now I have to rethink where I want to go this weekend.

I've done the Skyline Drive (although it is worth doing again). But I really had my heart set on seeing some new sights.

What's down in the West Va. area,,,,, or there abouts???? Anyone have an idea where I could go and miss Earl for 3 days???

I'm bummed ,,,

The things I liked,,,,I\'ve tried em twice!

I think anywhere along the Eastern States is going to be 'wet n windy'

Darn .... don't that toast your pinkies!

You could always head on up here and I'll show you around some. No camping, but there is a shower and a bed, with meals.

Mom would enjoy the company(Ask CJ n Red)

Hotmail me if interested and I'll send you a nice route.

Winger - No need to be bummed. It would have been hot and sticky and stinky the whole trip. You really wanted to wait until October so that you could see all the colors on the trees.

I was planning a trip to Watkins Glen that is now on hold also, so I know how you feel.

It does not look like Earl is going to mess up over this way so Head west, you nman, head west. It is supposed to cool of to a high in the 60's on Saturday over this way so bring a jackt liner with you.

Well,,,,,, that didn't take long

Just after I had replyed back to my/our friend Dusty,,,,,, my phone rang.

Looks like I might be (good chance of it) going to Canada for a little visit. Never been that far into Canada,,,,,,,,, so that takes care of the " things I've never seen before"

dilemma
Unless something else comes up,,,,,, earthquake, volcanic eruptions, or anything of the sort,,,,, I'll be heading for the border.
It's great to have such good friends

The Cabot Trail, my friend, the Cabot Trail! Find Maine, and go straight up!

What's a little hurricane for men like you? Won't get up that high, likely..... while you're at it, fly around the Gaspe'.......... if two schmoes like CJ and Red can do it, so can you, so can you.....

Besides, if that little ol' Earl gets up there, the ferry crossing from Rimouski will be a real blast!

I would expect nothing different from you Mel,,,,,,,, but you and Sandy really should try riding in sunny weather sometime.

I can ride pretty hard,,,,,,, but the Cabot and the Gaspe' in 3 days ?? I would need another wing,,,,,,,,,, then I'd be flying

How far are you from Sault Ste Marie, then? How about a Circle Tour of Lake Superior? Good ride, son, good ride......

Oh, and if you go up to visit Dusty, make sure you flood his basement....kinda loosens things up with his mother!
