"FULL" coverage can and does mean many different things to many people. Liability limits can be as low as $35,000 on up to 2 million or so. Some coverage has injury benefits and loss of work coverage, and uninsured motorist coverage.

Much as it scares me, I have only the liability coverage as I feel that with a 10 year old Wing, they will try to screw me anyway, so I will accept my odds.

The minimum here is $200,000 which I'm paying $911 for.
Of course if I was riding that 650cc crotch rocket that passed me yesterday like I was standing still I'd pay much less as the rates are by cc not style or HP.

Advise given here is free and comes with no warranty "Caveat emptor"

I am not so much worried about the loss of my bike, as I am for other costs that are otherwise occur in such things. In my county, more than half of the drivers are not insured at all.

Just to give some perspective to those of you who are really trying to compare:

One GL1500SE

Liability to others.....................................$500,00 0.................$356
Uninsured motorist....................................$500,0 00.................$747
Underinsured Motorist................................$500,000.. ...............$605
Comprehensive w/disappearing $500 deductible...........................$054
Collision w/disappearing $500 deductible.....................................$23 9
Accessory Coverage....... ............$3,000....................included
Roadside Assistance with Trip Interruption $500 per occurrence, $15.00

Total before discounts offered for personal experience w/Progressive Ins. $2016
