Hi, I want to re-paint my 1988 Rotor Covers.

Has anyone ever done this?

What kind of paint?

Mine are OEM Gray, I might change to more of a Silver, any Ideas?

Thanks

Wheel silver looks good on the ones I have seen.

Krylon do a similar grey to the OEM, and it is good heavy coverage paint.

They're pretty inexpensive on Ebay. Might be cheaper to go that route especially if you can go with new gray ones instead of the chrome version.

I painted mine with clear. I think I put too much on!

Some of the 1988 and 1989 models had interesting color-keyed rotor covers. I'm thinking particularly about the commodore blue-green models.

You have an 88 in Martini Beige? I'm thinking either engine silver, or a dark brown that matches your bikes secondary colour.

They look real nice when color matched to the bikes main body color. You will probably get a close rattle can match to the beige.

Some of the Honda car rattlecan colours are a very close match.
