So here is my Racer Wing project in rideable (and much lighter) form. It was a late Sat night and early morning today to get it in this form. Main push was to get her ready to ride with a group of friends to Cyclemos Motorcycle Museum in Red Boiling Springs, TN. With a final check of wiring, fluids, and a couple bolts my buddy put an easy 100mi right away. I rode my shovel and it was kinda cool to see my new bike rolling down the road. The pipes sound awesome at 55mph and if anybody is wondering that is International Harvester Red from my local Tractor Supply. Colors are limited but that Velspar paint is awesome stuff if you prep accordingly and take your time. Still plenty to do with paint, polish, and tweaks but I am loving it.

Thanks for the comments! I got plenty more I wanna do but it can all be done while keeping it ride ready! All that aluminum is just begging to be hit with my polishing wheel! Also, have plans to mount a small 70's style fairing to complete the look while bringing some red up front and the clubman bars should be here in a couple days.

Are those sportster mufflers? What was on there previously? Those don't look stock in the before picture?

Yeah those are sporty pipes. As far as I can tell they were stock pipes when I started. If you look at my post from about a week ago, I posted pics of the pipes close up. I actually used the old "H" pipe to convert the 1 3/4" harley pipe. Shoot me an IM if you need pics of the brackets I made.
