Just got my radio back from a friend who did the modification to allow MP3 player input.

This is going to be way cool, am just waiting for this constant rain to stop to get some riding time in digging on my own tunes.

Here it is hooked up to bike wiring before buttoning up.

Good idea...it's been done by several members I believe.
I opted for a much simpler solution...and got a casette adapter.
Some say there is a loss in quality, but I cannot hear any.

good going. I just didn't feel comfortable doing the mod myself, paid sierra to do it.

I love having this option. I used the same method pictured above and I've never had any trouble.
