This is what I did..... Got a motorcycle add-on trunk on Ebay for less than $80 and mounted it on my rack assembly. It is lockable and removable. I think it looks a lot better than a plastic cooler or canvas like luggage box.

Sorry... cannot post photo's from my location! But think of a PakIt Rack with a hard box or motorcycle add-on trunk instead of a cooler on the rear rack. Nothing all that complex.

Hey PW,
You responded to a very old thread. You may or may not get an answer to your question but, it never hurts to ask. And welcome to the forum!!

Here's mine. Got lights, license plate switches to it quickly, locks with cable around it and holds a lot of stuff.. I highly recommend the uptilt. The first one I made was level just like all the pricey store-boughts and it bottomed out leaving gas stations. Box is a Rubbermaid. When it's had-it, I can get another for $25.

Patty, here is a rack that I just purchased for myself.

http://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/gl18...rack/76/153379

I haven't taken a ride with it yet, had to get a new hitch pin for the hitch..... but got that done today, so will give it a whirl tomorrow.

If it drags, then I will have it cut and the angle changed to match the pix above.
