I don't exactly know how it happened, but I did it yesterday. Dropped her….

Slight incline, slow right turn with no traffic. Within a second or two…she stalled, handle bars went hard left and down we went.

No damage, no injury, except a little bruise to my pride. Amazed at how fast it happened. My respect for being careful at all times went up 10-fold.

Glad to hear you are OK.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

I made the mistake of doing that pulling out of my sister's driveway with my nephew watching. He's 2. That was back in june or july and he still points to the bike and says "da bike cwash". Gotta love kids.

At least he didn't see the other 4 times

Was it your BAS that went out and made it stall? Or do you know why it stalled?
What year is your bike?

It's a '96 A. If it was the BAS, thats the first time its done it. Is there a way to check it?

The only extenuating circumstances that I recall were two attractive young girls on the sidewalk across from the street that I was turning onto. I'm guessing that my attempt to look cool got shot down with the fall.

I did that making a U turn in my driveway sometime back and again in the same driveway just sitting there and thought the sidestand was down. By the time I realized it wasn't, I was past the point of no return.

You gotta keep the RPMs up and feather the clutch and brake to make those turns on the 1500 with the low end lag it has.

Yup .... got to keep it revved up slightly and slip the clutch on those inclines pulling away from a dead/near dead stop.
