GL 1500 Headlite Cover
Have considered adding the plastic cover to the headlite on my 90. Has anyone done this?

Supposed to proteci the lense from stones, which is good, but been thinking that if moisture gets behind the cover,it may fog up & present another problem.

Anyone ever used one ? or has an opinion pro or con ? Enlighten me! (;) )

I've owned many 1500s with that cover, and consider it good insurance. Never seen it as a problem.

Do they stick on or do I need to remove somethun ?

The ones I've seen all use little stickon dots in the 4 corners. The "hard velcro" kind.

You have a small air gap between the shield, and the lens. It can be removed for cleaning, and no fogging occurs.

I have one of those on my 97' SE and it works well. Wash the bike with the pressure washer and it cleans without removing.
