Info from Dunlop indicates 0900 would be 9th Week of 2000.

I once bought a '74 VW Type 4 with 10+ year old Continental tires on it. Had plenty of tread on the front tires since the front end of the car weighed nothing. But they wound up splitting up the tread from dry rot.

Quite comical. The PO had 12 cinder blocks in the trunk (up front) since the front end wandered on the road in cross winds.

Wished I still had that car, but some old broad in a Cadillac decided to broadside me on an icy road.

I just checked the date code on my newly acquired Wing and the tires are from 2011 but the front tire has bad dry rot

My Wing tires never last long enough to rot.Never have on any of my previous Wings and this one is going to be worse apparently.Just saying.

If I\'d have known it would last this long I would have taken better care of it.

If you are running tires that old (13 years) you might want to consider replacements.

Vote one for year-round riding! Austone Darksider PVT (Passenger Vehicle Tire)

Most recent Wing: 128k+ on the 2000 GL1500 SE (Just totaled) due to being rear-ended...
Current ride (for now) 2015 Triumph Trophy SE

Avatar- 1963 Kenskill trailer

Previous wings: '78GL1000, 13k mile '77 GL1000 (resto at home, neat story!), '81 GL1100 Interstate.
Previous non-wings: CB360T, Suzuki GS550L, Yamaha 650 spcl (first bike!), Silverwing 500, Yamaha Spectre 1100, VFR700F, CB900 Custom.

I just bought this bike and knew I was going to have to replace the front but the rear looked good but a 13 year old tire I will not be riding on.
