Nolan N104 with J&M sound review

We just received our Nolan N104 modular helmets with

the elite J&M sound/i-com system, and this is our review.

Helmet sizing,

I read that the helmets are narrow. My wife measured to

the large end of a small and I measured to the large end

for a large so we ordered the next biggest size.

The helmets fit perfectly, and with the face shield closed

and the chin strap not engaged, it was impossible to pull

the helmet off our heads. Even with this they are not

overly tight on our head where they would leave a mark

on our foreheads. Fit rated as excellent.

Sound system

With our old HJC helmets and the Hondaline

speakers/i-com the audio was turned up to 21 and the

i-com was at 18.

With the new helmets and sound system I had to turn

the audio down to 10 and the i-com down to 9.

The helmet and sound system literally blew us away, and

we are extremely satisfied with our purchase, especially

since they were 20% off with free shipping.

Hope this review helps, for those looking for a helmet,

but in my research they say that head shape makes a

difference in the type of helmet that people like. I guess

we just got lucky on that one.

I was looking on the J&M site. Do you know which model they installed in yor helmets? They have several to choose from. I'm looking into buying a set for my new Nolan N104 and installing it myself. I saw a madel for the goldwing but it said its for the N103 helmets. Not sure if it would be compatable for the 104's. I don't see why it wouldn't but I'd like to know before spend a couple hundred dollars on it.
