Suggestions for a driving light bar?

Hey all, I was looking to wire up some driving lights on my gl 1500 but cant seem to find a light bar to mount some aftermarket driving lights on like these.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-2INCH-10W...0e2492&vxp=mtr

Any ideas?

Thanks!

look for local motorcycle junkyard, in the 80s and 90s there was a chrome bar that went all the way across the front, extends out the sides about 6 inches below headlight

many install LED like that under the side edges of the cowl, in and ahead of your hands- tucked under the ridge

This is the bar I have on mine. Previous owner had purchased but never installed it. Installation was simple, holes were slightly off but it only took a little work to get the screws to start without crossthreading. This bar is very stout and mounts solidly, highly recommend as long as you don't mind the wide spacing of the lights (28"). Here's a couple pics to give you an idea what it looks like installed. My current lights are long ovals which have a yellow aura when viewed straight on. I like the looks of them but I think I'll soon be changing to LED for less current draw and better visibility by oncoming traffic.

awassig,

that is a ShowChrome light kit.
I have one on my 1800 and also had one on my '98SE.

Yep show chrome kit. I called big bike parts today and they will sell just the mounting bracket itself so I can mount led lights to it for $39.95 plus $10.95 shipping $50.90. Seems a little expensive for a bracket but it is chrome plated in the costs defense. Any other suggestions where I might find a like bracket would be appreciated before I order this one.

Wow your bike is the only other wing ive seen with a fender bra.

Btw are those driving lights running off your OEM alternator? I like how they look.
