I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges, Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror, The wide brown land for me!

We all learnt that at school in my day. There are several versions on Youtube, one being by the authoress, Dorothea Mackella OBE herself.

In Sidney, one can walk the "Bridge." The lower section is free, but to go across the famous top part is I think about $200 US. I did not do it, but talked with someone that did, and does not seem to be for the faint of heart. Sounds like once you start there is no turning back.

I took the ferry boat out to Manly Harbour. The Opera House is there as well. Walked a lot in the city. They have a China Town.

Only had a chance to eat fish and chips in Perth for breakfast at a local fare.

Leaving both cities, it is hundreds of miles of barren outback. I can only imagine driving down there.
