Glacier NP Going to the sun road const. complete?

Visited Glacier NP a few years ago. Much construction. Is the "going to the Sun" road reconstruction finally complete?

Thx in advance for help

We did not see any construction when we were there a couple of weeks ago, other than what looked like routine maintenance.

Construction

I do not think it's ever complete. Take the Red bus and enjoy the view.

I've learned so much from my mistakes, I'm thinking about making a few more.

We rode there July 13th and don't recall seeing any road construction. Sadly it was thunderstorming for 1/2 of the trip through the Going to the Sun Road:

I understand that the major roadworks commenced back in 2007 were completed at the end of 2015, so I'm thinking just regular/standard road maintenance now.

Bikes I've owned since June, 2013:
Since sold:11 CBR250R, 89 ZG1000, 92 Ninja 500, 85 V45 Magna, 84 DT200, 82 Virago 750, 92 Virago 1100, 04 Kawasaki ZZR250, 07 Vstrom 650 ABS, 88 GL1500, 14 Ninja 300, 86 V65 Magna, 96 VLX600, 08 WR250X, 09 KLX250S, 87 FZR1000, 14 Ninja 650, plus some more...

The paving is totally done - for the first time in many years. If you are planning a trip over I would suggest going east to west - starting in St Marys Mt - there is rarely a wait on this entrance of more than a few cars. Coming from West Glacier there is often an hour to an hour and a half wait at the park gates.

What he said, I have done it three times. Two from the East and one from the West.

From the East the ride up is more gradual and when coming on the downgrade from Logans Pass you are on the inside lane and not on the outside with a 18" rock wall to keep you from falling a mile down into the valley !
