Garage
I think you could do most of that list with less than half the money and get a US built 2008-2010 1800 for about 12k and still have a nice boost to savings/investments. Do the work yourself and save more, then a newer bike won't need all the tools, drip on the floor or need real insulation in the garage. I'm a firm believer in everything in moderation, except day dreaming.

I was thinking a nice warm garage would make a good waiting room while they are waiting for their turn.

Well gentlemen and ladies.(If any are watching this) The money has hit the bank, LET THE SPENDING BEGIN !!!!!!! I have talked to my heating guy about getting the gas line out to the garage, and having him keep his eyes open for a good used hi efficiency furnace if one comes up. I am tracking down the insulation I want for the garage, and I am thinking of installing a camera system in the house and garage so I will need to run the wires before I close up the garage with insulation and drywall. I have purchased a air operated bike lift and just waiting to set it up, and a set of kick butt LED turn signal light for the front of the bike. The cold is due to hit on Monday or Tuesday so that may slow things down a bit but I'm not in a hurry and am well on my way to being broke again.

I will keep you updated as thing move along.

Oh, in case you haven't guessed, I am going to keep the 1500 and start buying toys!!!

The lift will be the best tool you could have bought.

A used 1800 is a good suggestion. If I had the cash I'd look for a vintage CB550 or 750 to restore/customize and ride when you don't need the big bike. Definitely heat the garage.
